Show Me Some Respect!

For my choice assignment, I chose to do a Social Justice lesson with my students. We focused on the act of showing respect. Here are some photos from the lesson. Enjoy!

This was the introduction to the lesson & when the students talked about who they respected & why.

We read the story, Interrupting Chicken, & learned what it looks like to NOT show respect.

Students then were given the option to show what it looks like to be respectful through writing, acting, or drawing. Here is a fist bump!
